Green Hustle Festival
We loved our very first live, in-person Green Hustle festival on Saturday 5th June. Thank you, everyone!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, for making our debut proper festival an absolute corker. The sun shone generously upon the smiling faces of Sneinton, and you came out in your droves to get involved. It was as perfect as we’d ever imagined.
We couldn’t have done it without the wide support we received from all corners of the Nottingham community, from our stallholders, activity leaders, performers, talkers, artists, bike peddlers and enthusiastic volunteers who enriched the festival with so much goodness. Huge love also to the fringe event organisers – our team didn’t get to leave The Avenues but we had so much amazing feedback. Thank you all.
We welcomed an amazing selection of Nottingham’s finest green, creative, and community orgs leading the way in creating a greener, fairer world. With a huge range of talks, activities, and performances, from poetry, to zine-making, collaborative art to cycle-powered Scalextric racing, 3D-printing to skateboarding, green eating to sustainable shopping, there was something for everyone.
The main event took place on Sneinton Market Avenues, with a wealth of fringe events taking place around the area.
